SocioLocal is a marketing technology company that has built a multi-location marketing management platform. They are headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. It was founded by Stephen Malone and Michael Nolan.[1] SocioLocal launched its software, SocioCommand, in 2019, which helps brands centralise their local marketing efforts. They brought on customers such as Musgrave Group and AF Blakemore.[2] [3] [4] [5]

In 2021, they launched their location app, SocioConnect, which was built for local retailers to use in tandem with their brand team on SocioCommand. Modules included reputation, performance, posting and content pool.

In 2025, after adding BWG Foods and Henderson Group to their list of customers, SPAR International entered a partnership with SocioLocal.[6] [7] [8] [9]

SocioLocal users can post to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn and Google Business. SocioLocal has integrated with Img.ly and Canva to resize images for multiple networks and to edit graphics and video content.

In 2026, SocioLocal launched a new Retail Media product. Supplier brands can book advertising slots on local pages through the software.[10] [11] [12]

SocioLocal's platform has been adopted by retail and hospitality organisations including Musgrave Group, BWG Foods and Henderson Group.[13] [14]

SocioLocal was nominated for the Top Retail Supplier 2026 Award for MarTech Innovation in the RETA Awards.[15] BWG Foods also received an award for Marketing Innovation from the Marketing Institute Ireland. The award recognised a partnership between BWG Foods and SocioLocal.[16]
