Simon Hibble is a departmental lecturer in practical chemistry. He tutors inorganic chemistry at Worcester College, University of Oxford.[1]

He also has a passion for ice skating. He has competed in ice dance competitions with his skating partner Phillipa Cooper-Lewis. Having competed in 4 competitions and 9 events together between 2012 and 2017, their personal best was a score of 21.83. They won the Ice dance bronze PD - pattern dance 2 event in the ISU Adult skating competition in both 2012 and 2013, and also the ice dance bronze PD - pattern dance 1 and the free dance in 2013.[2]

Simon Hibble is also a runner, coming first in his age category in the Run Jericho 10K in 2025.[4]
