Sam Pedram is an Australian governance professional and author who has held leadership and advisory roles in project management, infrastructure, planning, and public sector governance.[1][2]
Education
Pedram holds a Master of Planning and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of New South Wales.[3]
Career
Pedram has held senior roles in the Australian Public Service, including Branch Head (Assistant Secretary) at the Commonwealth Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.[4]
She has contributed to climate adaptation research associated with the National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility (NCCARF).[5]
Pedram is listed as an author of a CoastAdapt case study on climate risk assessment for the Australian Department of Defence.[6]
In 2025, Pedram was appointed Chair of the Board of Directors of the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM).[1]
Pedram has written and spoken on topics including project management, infrastructure delivery, construction productivity, and supply chain management in industry publications.[7][8]
