Rhys Knight is an Irish footballer who plays as a midfielder for EFL Championship club Bristol City.[1]
Career
Knight came through at Bray Wanderers, making his league debut in 2024. In 2025, he started 22 league matches for the club as they reached the League of Ireland play-off.[2] He was named Irish Boys’ Under-18 Schools International Player of the Year in June 2025.[3]
Knight signed for EFL Championship club Bristol City on a three-and-a-half year contract in February 2026, going into the academy at the club, where his brother Jason is a first-team player.[4] He played for both Bristol City U18 and U21 teams in the 2025-26 season.[5]
Personal life
Knight attended Clonkeen College in Blackrock.[6] He is the brother of footballers Kevin, Conor and Jason Knight.[7]
