Power11 is a superscalar, multithreading, multi-core microprocessor family, based on the open source Power ISA, announced 8 Juli 2025 and available from 25 Juli 2025. The main features of Power11 are higher performance per watt and better memory and I/O architectures, with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI) workloads. Power11 is available in a range of IBM models and is supported by operating systems including Linux 6.16, AIX and PowerVM. Just like POWER10, the branding is now changed to not be capitalized.
