Pemble is an anonymous messaging and question-and-answer platform that operates primarily in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Its web interface is in Sorani Kurdish, and it is also distributed as mobile apps for iOS and Android.^[1][2][3]

A registered user obtains a public profile link, which they share with others. Friends, followers, or anonymous visitors can then send questions or messages to the user through that link without creating an account of their own. Recipients can publish replies publicly on their profile.^[1]

Messages can be sent anonymously, and the recipient can reply to them publicly. To deter abuse, the platform states that it retains a one-way hash of each sender's IP address with the message.^[4]

Pemble includes a gamification system in which users accumulate experience points (XP) to raise their level. Replying to a question awards 5 XP, gaining a new follower awards 10 XP, and sending a gift awards 50 XP per point. There are 50 levels, each requiring progressively more cumulative XP, with the highest level beginning at roughly 70 million XP.^[5]
