The channel is among the licensed free-to-air television stations regulated by the Communications Authority of Kenya under the country's broadcasting framework.[1] As of 2023, Kenya had 223 licensed free-to-air television stations, comprising commercial and community outlets, regulated under the Kenya Information and Communications Act.[2] The channel expanded its programming from exclusively music content to include talk shows, campus-focused programming, and lifestyle content.
Programming
PPP TV's content focuses on Kenyan music and youth culture. According to StarTimes Kenya, approximately 70% of the channel's music programming features Kenyan artists, with the remaining 30% dedicated to international music.[3]
