Early Life and Education
Born on November 27, 2008, in Sikkim, Chhetri began his journey into public service as a content creator and vlogger. He has consistently used his digital platform to advocate for the youth and rural development of the Himalayan region.
Political Career
State General Secretary (NEYFI)
In 2024, Chhetri was appointed as the State General Secretary of the Sikkim North East Youth Forum of India (NEYFI). In this role, he has been a vocal supporter of the vision of Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) and has focused on connecting remote villages to the government through digital portals.
National Youth Parliament 2026
Chhetri represented Sikkim at the National Youth Parliament Festival in New Delhi. During the session at Bharat Mandapam, he was selected to play the role of the "Prime Minister" of the session, where he presented a draft bill focused on Education and Technology.
Resignation (May 2026)
On May 8, 2026, Chhetri officially resigned from all political and organizational posts, stating that "true service does not require a title or the trappings of VVIP culture". He has expressed a commitment to continuing his work for the citizens of Sikkim as a private citizen.
