NGC 5 is a elliptical galaxy in the constellation of Andromeda. This galaxy has a generic redshift estimated to be 217 million light years from Earth. It was discovered by French astronomer, Edouard Stephan, using a reflecting telescope. 80,01 cm (31,5 inci) Marseille Observatory on 21 October 1881.[3][4][5][6]
