Later politics

In 2016, Sarnoff wrote a blog piece for The Times of Israel in which he opined that a possible Marine Le Pen presidency in France following its 2017 election could endanger French Jews. Sarnoff welcomed a possible exodus of French Jewry to take refuge in Miami.

In 2018, Sarnoff was considered a possible candidate in the Democratic primary the for the United States House of Representatives in Florida's 27th congressional district, but declined to run.[1]
