Marc Brugger is a hospitality executive known for leadership roles in luxury hotels and integrated resort properties in Asia and Europe. He has held senior positions with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and Las Vegas Sands Corp., and has been involved in the opening and repositioning of multiple hotel and casino properties.[1][2]
Career
Brugger has worked in luxury hospitality for over three decades, holding senior operational and development roles across Europe and Asia.[3]
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts
In 2012, Brugger was appointed Managing Director of Rosewood Beijing, the brand’s first property in mainland China.[4] Trade publications described him as leading the opening of the property as part of Rosewood’s expansion into Asia.[4]
In 2017, he was appointed Managing Director of Rosewood Hong Kong, overseeing the development and opening of the hotel.[2][5] Industry sources reported that he had previously led luxury hospitality operations across Asia before assuming the Hong Kong role.[6]
Las Vegas Sands and Macau integrated resorts
Brugger later held senior hospitality leadership roles within Las Vegas Sands Corp. in Asia-Pacific operations.[7] His responsibilities were associated with luxury hotel operations at integrated resort properties including Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.[7]
