Larry Plummer was an American politician who served as a member of the Florida Senate, representing Monroe County's District 39.

Early life and family

Plummer was a son of J. L. Plummer Sr. (who served as a member of the Dade County School Board) and a brother of J. L. Plummer (who served on the Miami City Commission).[1] His great-grandfather, Joseph W. Plummer, served as mayor of Key West in the 19th century.[2]

Plummer was born into the fifth generation of his family to reside in Florida.[3]

Plummer represented the 39th district located in Monroe County.[1]
