Kilmer was a Post-punk band from Seattle, Washington. it was formed by Joey Ashenbrenner[citation needed] as the drums, Greg Langlais as the bass, Peter Nelson as the vocals, guitars, and keys, and Brian Ward as the guitar and vocals. they broke up in 2001.

Kilmer self-released their first album in 1998, titled The Highlands And Lowlands. and they released their second album in 2002. titled Reason Can Deceive, Faith May be Misplaced, But Love.... the fifth song off of The Highlands And Lowlands, "petition" appeared on a let's jet records compilation.
