Jonathan Brightbill is General Counsel of the United States Department of Energy.[1] He was nominated by President Donald Trump for the role on March 10, 2025.[2] Brightbill is the son of statesman David J. Brightbill, former Majority Leader of the Pennsylvania State Senate.[3][4]
