Lively was born in Monroe, Louisiana, and grew up in Southwest Detroit, Michigan. He is one of six siblings, with three brothers and two sisters. His mother, stepfather, and biological father are deceased.

Lively began his career as a professional tattoo artist in Michigan. He later gained public recognition for tattooing high-profile clients, including professional athletes and musicians. His tattoo work includes custom designs and tribute tattoos and has been featured in televised and online media.
