JB Financial Group (Korean: JB금융지주) is a South Korean financial holding company headquartered in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province. Established in 2013, it is one of the major regional financial groups in South Korea, primarily serving the Honam region (Jeolla provinces) through its core subsidiaries, Jeonbuk Bank and Kwangju Bank.

As of 2025, JB Financial Group has expanded into a global entity with a strong presence in Southeast Asia and is recognized for its high profitability and efficient management.

The group was launched in July 2013 as JB Financial Holdings, centered around Jeonbuk Bank. 2013: Incorporated JB Woori Capital. 2014: Significant expansion through the acquisition of JB Asset Management (March) and Kwangju Bank (October), establishing its position as a major regional player. 2016: Entered the Southeast Asian market by acquiring Phnom Penh Commercial Bank (PPCBank) in Cambodia. 2020: Established JB Securities Vietnam (JBSV) and JB PPAM in Cambodia. 2025: Reported a record cumulative net profit of ₩578.7 billion for the third quarter, driven by strong performance across its banking and capital subsidiaries.

JB Financial Group operates through several domestic and international subsidiaries:

Jeonbuk Bank: Founded in 1969, serving as the primary bank for North Jeolla Province. Kwangju Bank: Founded in 1968, serving as the representative bank for Gwangju and South Jeolla Province. It is also the main depository bank for Chonnam National University. JB Woori Capital: A credit-specialized finance company focusing on auto finance and personal loans. JB Asset Management: Specializing in alternative investments, including energy and real estate. JB Investment: A venture capital firm focusing on new technologies.

PPCBank (Phnom Penh Commercial Bank): One of the leading commercial banks in Cambodia. JB Securities Vietnam: Providing brokerage and investment banking services in Vietnam. JB Capital Myanmar: A microfinance institution in Myanmar.

In December 2025, JB Financial Group signed a strategic agreement with NAVER Cloud to innovate financial services using artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud technology. The group has consistently received high ESG ratings from the Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability (KCGS) for its transparent management and social contribution efforts.
