iOS 27 will be the upcoming, twentieth version of the Apple's iOS operating system for the iPhone. It will be announced on June 8, 2026, at the 2026 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).[2][3][4] It is the direct of successor to iOS 26 and will be announced alongside iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, visionOS 27, and tvOS 27.

Changes

iOS 27 will certainly be a minor version centered in fixing bugs and enhancing perfomance, with no new visual changes made. It will also be similar to Mac OS X Snow Leopard.[5]

iOS 27 will feature a revamped AirPods settings UI.[9]

iOS 27 will feature a bill-splitting feature.[10][11]

Supported devices

iOS 27 will require an iPhone with an Apple A14 Bionic chip or newer, thus dropping support for the IPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, and the IPhone SE (2nd generation).[12][13] Apple Intelligence features require an Apple A17 Pro chip or newer.
