Granite (formerly Granite Digital) is an Irish digital services company headquartered in Cork, Ireland. Founded in 2008, the company provides digital strategy, web and app design, ecommerce, performance marketing, and AI driven transformation services.[1][2] Granite operates offices in Cork, Dublin, Galway, Belfast, New York, and Dubai.[3]

History

Granite Digital was founded in late 2008 in Cork by Conor Buckley, Seamus White, Robert Carpenter, and Ger O'Shea.[3] The company appeared on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 list for four consecutive years from 2016 to 2019, recognising rapid revenue growth.[4]

Acquisitions

Beginning in 2020, Granite pursued an acquisitive growth strategy. In August 2020, the company acquired Cork based creative agency Connector for approximately €1 million.[5] In May 2022, Granite acquired Dublin based ecommerce specialist Willows Consulting,[6] followed by digital services agency Continuum in November 2022.[7]

In June 2023, Granite expanded internationally by acquiring a majority stake in New York based LCM247's digital division, marking the company's entry into the United States market.[8][9] In July 2023, Granite acquired Galway based enterprise digital product agency Armour.[10]

Further acquisitions followed: Dublin based digital design agency WONDR in May 2024,[11] Limerick based data science agency Coalface in November 2024,[12] Belfast based Zesty from News UK & Ireland in August 2025,[13] and Northern Ireland based Creative Media in March 2026, the company's ninth acquisition overall.[1][14]

Investment and expansion

In November 2025, Granite secured a $10 million investment from BGF to accelerate its international expansion, particularly into the United States.[2][15][16]

Recognition

Granite was named Large Agency of the Year at the Spider Awards in both 2024 and 2026, and won Best in eCommerce at the same ceremony.[17][18] The company was named eCommerce Large Agency of the Year at the Irish eCommerce Awards for three consecutive years and was certified as a Best Workplace in Ireland by Great Place to Work in 2023.[19]
