G123 is a gaming platform that offers games playable on web browsers. It was launched and is currently being operated by CTW Inc., a video game company based in Tokyo.[1]

The games provided on the G123 platform include over 30 titles licensed from Japanese anime IPs. These games are opened and played directly without prior installation or account registration.[2]

InvestGame notes that G123 ranks third globally by gross billings among anime IP-based HTML5 game developers, behind Tencent and NetEase Games.[3]

Analysis of the global browser game market by Data Horizzon Research describes a steady expansion of HTML5-based gaming globally. They also estimate the browser gaming sector to grow at more than 9.3% annually between 2025 and 2033.[6]

Findings on HTML5 gaming trend insights posted on Think With Google attributes the growth in web browser gaming to improved performance of mobile browsers and 5G connectivity.[7]

Controversy

Japanese IT media site N Lab published an article in 2020 featuring misleading and sexually suggestive ad creatives used in online campaigns by Vivid Army, one of G123's titles.[8]

In August 2025, the United Kingdom Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) warned that future G123 advertisements must be socially responsible and avoid sexualization of minors and women. This ruling came after ASA received complaints for the YouTube ads of G123's High School DxD Operation Paradise Infinity published on June 2025.[9]
