Overview
Finchatton is a British property development and design company founded in 2001 by Andrew[1] Dunn[2]. The company specialises in high-end residential development[3], private commissions and interior design[4], primarily in Central London, with additional projects across the UK[5] and internationally. Since its establishment, Finchatton has delivered more than 100 development projects and over 150 private commissions.[6]
Finchatton’s work is focused on the prime residential sector and combines contemporary architectural approaches with traditional design principles. The company has been involved in a number of high-profile developments[7], including The Whiteley[8] in Bayswater[9] and 20 Grosvenor Square [10] in Mayfair[11]. In addition to its London operations, the company maintains a country office in Hampshire.[12]
History
Finchatton was founded in 2001 by Andrew Dunn[13]. Under his leadership, the company has operated in the super-prime residential market in London and internationally. Over time, the business has expanded its activities beyond residential development[14] to include projects in additional sectors such as healthcare and education. The company has also incorporated sustainability and restoration into aspects of its work.
Divisions
Finchatton Design[15]
Finchatton Design is the company’s interior architecture and design studio[16]. It provides interior design services for Finchatton developments[17] as well as private clients. The studio works across residential projects in London, the UK countryside[18] and internationally[19], integrating architectural context and construction considerations into its design process.
Finchatton Construction Management[20]
Finchatton offers construction management and traditional design-and-build procurement models. Its construction management services involve coordination of trade contractors and project teams, and may allow construction works to commence prior to completion of the full design, depending on the project structure.
Finchatton Advisory[21]
Finchatton Advisory provides property advisory services to private clients[22] in relation to high-value residential and commercial real estate in the UK and internationally. The advisory arm works across development, investment and sales transactions.
Finchatton Sales & Marketing
The company also operates an in-house sales and marketing division[23] responsible for branding, marketing strategy and sales coordination for its developments, including private client projects.
