Eteled is the primary antagonist and central figure of the popular creepypasta and animated web series Wii Deleted You, created by Icebox (formerly The64thGamer). Originally appearing as a standard Mii on a haunted Wii console, eteled is revealed to be the digital manifestation of Henry, a former Nintendo employee who died under mysterious circumstances and had his soul transferred into the console’s hardware. Unlike many slasher-style horror icons, eteled’s character is defined by a tragic duality: while he often displays a short-tempered and violent persona—notably using his signature axe to "delete" other Miis—his actions are rooted in a desperate, lonely obsession with remaining "saved" and avoiding the void of deletion himself. Since his debut, the character has become a cult icon within the horror-gaming community, spawning various spin-offs, fan animations, and a prominent mod in the Friday Night Funkin' rhythm game.
