Dylan Henner is a British musician and composer who rarely discloses personal or biographical information about himself.

Henner's compositions incorporate the techniques of ambient music, choral music, experimental electronic music, dance music, and contemporary composition. He utilises synthesis, sampling, field recordings, and audio processing techniques such as vocoding. He has released numerous albums, including works for AD93, Phantom Limb, and Dauw, alongside his own self-released projects.

His music has been featured by The Quietus,[1] The Wire, Self-Titled [2], MOJO, and XLR8R.[3], and has enjoyed regular broadcast on NTS Radio, BBC 6Music, BBC Radio 3, WMFU, KEXP and many others.

History

While Henner rarely publicly shares personal information, he releases music regularly, having released 17 records over his seven years of operation.

His first release was an EP titled A Reason For Living, which was released by Phantom Limb in February 2019. His debut album proper The Invention of the Human was released in August 2020 and earned a place on BBC 6Music's Albums of the Year in 2020. His latest album Star Dream FM featured in MOJO's top 10 electronic albums of 2025.
