DuckyScript
DuckyScript is the scripting language used by the USB Rubber Ducky to define keystroke-injection payloads. It is designed to be human-readable and represents keyboard actions, pauses, and other automation behavior in a simple text format.[1]
Hak5 states that DuckyScript 1.0 was developed in 2010 as a basic macro language for the original USB Rubber Ducky. Early scripts mainly consisted of commands for sending keystrokes and adding delays between actions.[2]
Later versions of DuckyScript expanded the language with additional features. DuckyScript 3.0 includes support for variables, logic, functions, extensions, and other features intended to make payloads more flexible on supported devices.[3][4]
DuckyScript has also influenced other Human Interface Device emulation tools. Some BadUSB-style devices and projects use DuckyScript or DuckyScript-like syntax because it provides a concise way to describe automated keyboard input.[5]
