Born Guilty (Korean: 내가 죄인이오) is an upcoming South Korean crime noir television series starring Park Seo-joon, Uhm Tae-goo, and Jo Hye-joo. Based on the Kakao webtoon I Am a Sinner by Lee Mu-gi, it centers on individuals involved in drug trade and organized crime set in the 1980s. It is scheduled for release on Hulu on Disney+ in 2027.

Production
Development
The series is a crime noir drama based on the Kakao webtoon of the same name by Lee Mu-gi, which was serialized from January 2022 to January 2024.[1] In March 2026, Disney+ officially confirmed the production of the series and managed by New Point and Plusmedia Entertainment.[2]
Casting
The casting process began in mid-2025, with Park Seo-joon reported on July 4, to be taking on the lead role of Paengi (Park Eon-jin).[1] By October 29, it was reported that Uhm Tae-goo was offered the role of Ssaengdak.[3] While Jo Hye-joo was cast in the role of Bok-hee on December 2. This project marks Jo's first role in the noir genre.[4]
In March 2026, Kim Dong-wook was confirmed to make a special appearance.[5] On March 31, Disney+ finalized the primary cast—Park, Uhm, and Jo—alongside the official series announcement.[2] On April 9, it was reported that YouTuber Na Sun-uk had joined the cast and marks his first appearance as a regular cast member in a drama series.[6]
Filming
Principal photography began in early 2026.[5]
Release
Born Guilty is set to be distributed globally via Hulu on Disney+.[7]
