Ben Apolloni (Albanian pronunciation: [bɛn apo'ɫoni]; born 29 January 1980) is an Albanian film and theatre director from Kosovo. His most recent film is Bread and Shame (2025).[1]
Early life
Ben Apolloni was born on 29 January 1980 in Kaçanik. He completed a BA in theatre directing and an MA in film directing at the Faculty of Arts, University of Prishtina.[2]
Career
Apolloni has directed a number of theatre productions[3] [4] [5] and short films. [6] He served as a member of the international jury at the Dea Film Festival, [7] Tri Net Film Fest [8] dhe Tirana International Film Festival. [9] His work often explores themes of human relationships and societal issues. In 2025, he directed the film Bread and Shame. [10] [11]
