Baba Super Minerals Private Limited, commercially known as Baba Quartz, is an Indian industrial firm involved in the processing and export of quartz minerals. Headquartered in Ajmer, Rajasthan, the company is a producer of engineered stone for the international construction and interior design markets.[1][2]

History and Operations

The company was incorporated in 2010 by Shree Gopal Goyal, who established its primary manufacturing infrastructure in the Srinagar Industrial Zone of Ajmer. Following the founder's establishment of the firm, his son, Abhishek Goyal, joined the management and currently serves as the Managing Director.[3] Under this leadership, the firm transitioned from raw mineral supply to the production of finished architectural slabs.[4]

The manufacturing facility consists of seven plants dedicated to the conversion of raw quartz into grits and finished surfaces.[5] Industrial reports from 2023 indicate that the company maintains a vertically integrated model, sourcing raw material from its own mining interests in Rajsamand.[4]

Market and Distribution

The company’s growth in the export sector resulted in its designation as a Three-Star Export House by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.[6] In 2019, the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises recognized the firm with a national award for its export performance.[2]

The firm's output is primarily directed toward export markets in North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia.[7] In addition to its quartz operations, the company manufactures stone plastic composite (SPC) flooring materials.[8] The firm's contributions to regional industrial exports were recognized by the Government of Rajasthan through the State Export Awards in 2015 and 2019.[9]
