The Audiovisual Identity Database (formerly known as the CLG Wiki) is an online encyclopedia. It is best known for describing Production logos of various companies.

History

In 2007, Silversword55, member on the Yahoo Closing Logo Group, created the CLG Wiki as an updated version of the “KRS Logos” site created by Kris Starring and the “Clogos” site from Eric Hartman.

The website was original created on Wetpaint, which then became WikiFoundry. Due to WikiFoundry’s shutdown and the discontinuation of Adobe Flash, they later moved to Miraheze in 2020.

Due to an incident with the site’s original management team, new staff were chosen and the site was rebranded to the Audiovisual Identity Database on September 27, 2022.

Features

The wiki's general pages feature the company's background, visual descriptions of its identities, the techniques used, the audio heard, availability, and the legacy of specific idents, whether it be throughout pop culture or within the wiki's community.
