Anytype is a local-first, privacy-focused personal knowledge management and productivity application developed by Any Association. It allows users to create notes, databases, tasks, and relational knowledge graphs in a unified interface, with data stored on the user's own device and synchronized via an end-to-end encrypted peer-to-peer protocol.

Its underlying sync infrastructure, Any Sync, is available as open-source software, enabling self-hosted deployments. The application itself is released under the Any Source Available License, a proprietary license that permits source inspection but restricts redistribution.

Anytype is available for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android.
