Comment: See WP:MUSICBIO for what is needed here. Unfortunately we can't accept Spotify or Discogs as a source (see WP:RSP nor Wikipedia WP:CIRCULAR. Nor his relatives sources either. So that just leaves 3 marginal sources, insufficient for a biography. There are also some links inside the article to URLs, which is not allowed, they have to go via referencing. Label owner and executive
Andy’s signature worldwide hit “Crush” with Jennifer Paige was his first foray into the entrepreneurial side of the music business. He discovered Paige, who was singing with an events band at the time, and within 2 years helped her become an artist recognized around the world writing, producing, promoting, pressing, and distributing her records on GMARK Music, his own independent label, and then making a deal with Edel Records and Hollywood Records for world wide release.
Andy was also Vice President of A&R for Jive Records. Over a period of 5 years, he helped oversee the making of records for an artist roster that included Jennifer Love Hewitt, No Secrets, Aaron Carter and The Backstreet Boys.
From 2015-2020 Andy took a different kind of musical journey, co-writing, producing and releasing through his label, 529 Music, two instrumental Contemporary Jazz albums by jazz keyboardist John Novello famous for his work with Chick Corea and Niacin. The albums titled “Ivory Soul” and “Good To Go” resulted in two singles, “Good To Go” and “Shuffle The Deck” going to the top of the charts for multiple weeks on both the Billboard and Media Base Contemporary Jazz Charts and two singles “Crush” and “I Can’t Stop My Heart” going top 5 and top 10 respectively on both Billboard and Media Base charts as well.
Current
In 2023, Andy returned full circle to his roots as an artist under the name Ando’s Record Shop releasing his new singles “Dry January”, “Time On Mars”, “Way Back”, “Big Ol Coconut” and most recently “Blessing”[7] on his 529 Music label. Andy wrote, produced, and performed these tracks built from a foundation of pop, rhythm and blues, and gospel, distributing them through major digital streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.
