Amit Kumar Bhuyan (born 9 June 1987) is an Indian bodybuilder from Odisha. He won a gold medal at the 55th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship in 2023 and a bronze medal at the WBPF World Bodybuilding Championship in 2023. He has represented India at several national and international bodybuilding competitions.

Amit Kumar Bhuyan was born on 9 June 1987 in Jajpur district, Odisha, India. He is the son of Surendra Bhuyan and Kanchanbala Bhuyan.^[1] He completed his schooling at Dhaneswar High School, Gourasahi, Jajpur. He later studied at Baruneswar Mahavidyalaya, Jajpur, and graduated from the Directorate of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE), Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. ^{[citation needed]}

Bhuyan began his bodybuilding career at the state level and progressed to national and international competitions. He gained recognition after winning a gold medal in the men's 70 kg category at the 55th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship held from 1 to 7 September 2023 in Kathmandu, Nepal.^[2][3][4]
