Alexandra Adi (born April 13, 1971) is an American actress known for her work in film and television. She is recognized for roles in films such as American Pie (1999), Jawbreaker (1999), and Cop Land (1997), as well as for her recurring role as Samantha "Sam" Milano on the sitcom Step by Step.
Early life and education
Adi was born in New York, United States. She was born in Florida and raised in upstate New York.[1]
She attended Barnard College, graduating in 1993.
Career
Adi began her acting career in the 1990s, appearing in both film and television roles. She appeared in several late-1990s films, including Cop Land (1997), Jawbreaker (1999), and American Pie (1999).[2]
Her most prominent television role came in Step by Step, where she portrayed Samantha Milano, a recurring character during seasons 6 and 7.[3] In addition to Step by Step, Adi appeared in a variety of television series throughout the late 1990s and 2000s, including Boy Meets World, CSI: Miami, Baywatch, and Party of Five.[4] She also performed voice work for the animated science fiction series Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles.[3]
Adi continued acting into the 2000s, with later work including the comedy film Dealing (2012).[1]
Personal life
Adi resides in Los Angeles, California. She is married to Jerry A. Greenberg, a former Sapient executive.[1]
