AA23 is the tentative working title of an upcoming Indian Telugu-language film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film stars Allu Arjun and Shraddha Kapoor.

Development

In late December 2025, Lokesh Kanagaraj reportedly met with Allu Arjun at his residence in Hyderabad and narrated a script which impressed the actor.[1] Although Lokesh initially stated that his film following Coolie (2025) would be the sequel of Kaithi (2019), the production for this project is scheduled to commence in October 2026, after the actor completes his project with Atlee.[2][3] Initial reports claimed the project would be Lokesh's dream project Irumbu Kai Maayavi, but the reports were later refuted.[4][5] On 14 January, on the occasion of Pongal and Makar Sankranti, Mythri Movie Makers confirmed the project, tentatively titled AA23, LK07 and AALoki.[6] Lokesh retained his norm composer Anirudh Ravichander, in their fifth consecutive film.[7]

Filming

Principal photography will commence after Arjun completes his commitments to Atlee's Raaka.[2]

Music

The soundtrack is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, in his first film with Arjun; sixth film with Lokesh after Master (2021), Vikram (2022), Leo (2023), Coolie (2025) and DC.[8]
