Anatextrix is a genus of spiders in the family Agelenidae.[2]

The copulatory mechanism of Anatetrix has been described in detail.[3]

Distribution

Anatextrix is endemic to Turkey.[2] A. spectabilis has been found in Mersin Province and Adana Province, A. monstrabilis only in Adana Province.[1][4]

Etymology

The genus name is a combination of Anatolia and related genus Textrix. "spectabilis" and "monstrabilis" both mean "remarkable" in Latin.[1][4]
