"Assassin" adalah lagu dari band rock alternatif asal Inggris, Muse dari album keempat mereka Black Holes & Revelations. lagu ini berada di urutan ketujuh dalam album tersebut.
Assassin sebelumnya disebut "Debase Mason's Grog" dan pernah pula diberi judul Demonocracy sebelum peresmian daftar lagu dalam album.[1] Demonocracy bermakna penguasaan oleh para iblis (demons).
Lagu ini pertama kali dimainkan secara live pada tanggal 8 April 2005. bait-baitnya menyiratkan dorongan untuk bersiaga dengan melakukan apapun yang sanggup diperbuat saat ini sebelum kedatangan penghalang dan penentang di kemudian hari,[2]
