Zuyderzée
Zuyderzée adalah salah satu departemen di Kekaisaran Prancis Pertama yang terletak di wilayah Hollandia Utara dan Utrecht di Belanda. Departemen ini dinamai dari teluk Zuiderzee. Departemen ini dibentuk pada tahun 1810 setelah Kerajaan Hollandia dibubarkan dan wilayahnya disatukan dengan Prancis. Ibu kota departemen ini terletak di kota Amsterdam.
Departemen ini terbagi menjadi beberapa kanton (situasi tahun 1812):[1]
- Amsterdam, kanton: Amsterdam (6 kanton), Baambrugge, Kudelstaart, Loenen, Naarden, Nieuwer-Amstel, Oud-Loosdrecht, Watergraafsmeer dan Weesp.
- Alkmaar, kanton: Alkmaar (2 kanton), De Rijp, Schagen, Texel, Wieringen dan Zijpe.
- Amersfoort, kanton: Amersfoort (2 kanton), Rhenen dan Wijk bij Duurstede.
- Haarlem, kanton: Beverwijk, Bloemendaal, Haarlem (2 kanton), Heemstede, Oostzaandam, Westzaan dan Westzaandam.
- Hoorn, kanton: Enkhuizen, Grootebroek-Edam- Purmerend, Hoorn (2 kanton), Medemblik dan Monnickendam.
- Utrecht, kanton: IJsselstein, Maarssen, Mijdrecht, Schoonhoven, Utrecht (2 kanton) dan Woerden.
Jumlah penduduknya pada tahun 1812 tercatat sebesar 507.500 jiwa, sementara luas wilayahnya adalah 950.100 hektare.[1]
Setelah kekalahan Napoleon pada tahun 1814, departemen ini menjadi bagian dari Kerajaan Bersatu Belanda.
