View-source

view-source adalah skema URI yang dipakai oleh beberapa peramban web untuk menampilkan kode sumber dari sebuah halaman web atau sumber web lainnya.[1]

Sebagai contoh, URI view-source:https://example.com akan menampilkan sumber halaman yang beralamatkan di https://example.com.

Pada tanggal 25 Mei 2011, skema URI 'view-source' secara resmi terdaftar di IANA[2] per RFC 4395.

Dukungan peramban

Firefox dan Internet Explorer mendukung skema URI ini, tetapi dukungan untuk Internet Explorer dihentikan pada Windows XP SP2 karena masalah keamanan.[3] Firefox juga mengalami masalah keamanan serupa (dengan mengombinasikan URI view-source dan JavaScript[4]), tetapi masih tetap didukung pada Firefox 1.5[5] setelah kutunya diperbaiki. Pada tahun 2009, kutu baru yang ditemukan telah diperbaiki pada Firefox 3.0.9.[6]
