Victory Bateman (6 April 1865 – 2 Maret 1926) adalah seorang Amerika film bisu aktris. Ayahnya, Thomas Creese, dan ibunya, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Creese, keduanya adalah aktor. Di atas panggung, Ms. Bateman muncul dalam tur 1900 "The Man From Mexico" dan dalam tur 1919 di "Seven Days 'Leave".
Dia lahir sembilan hari sebelum Abraham Lincoln dibunuh tetapi diberi nama Victory karena kemenangan Utara atas Konfederasi Selatan yang menyelesaikan Perang Saudara. Pada awal 1890-an ia terlibat dalam proses perceraian aktor Aubrey Boucicault dan Amy Busby. Meski kemudian dibebaskan dari semua keterlibatan dalam kasus itu Bateman terpaksa mengundurkan diri dari kelompok yang semuanya perempuan dipanggil The Professional Woman's League.[2] Ia pernah menikah dengan Wilfred Clarke, putra John Sleeper Clarke dan Asia Booth; dan keponakan dari Edwin dan John Wilkes Booth. Mereka dipisahkan selama bertahun-tahun pada saat percobaan Boucicault.[3] Dia juga menikah, di tahun-tahun berikutnya, dengan Harry Mestayer dan George Cleveland. Dia dan dua suami terakhirnya akhirnya terlibat dalam industri film bisu.
