UniProt adalah sebuah pangkalan data urutan protein dan informasi fungsional akses-bebas, dengan banyak entri yang berasal dari proyek-proyek pengurutan genom. Pangkalan data ini mengandung sejumlah besar informasi mengenai fungsi biologis suatu protein yang diambil dari literatur-literatur penelitian.
