Toghrul
Toghrul adalah seorang saudara dan teman Temujin (kemudian disebut Genghis Khan) serta pemimpin klan Karait. Pada sekitar tahun 1200, ia dan Temüjin melancarkan kampanye melawan Tatar, sebuah kelompok yang tinggal di bagian yang sekarang menjadi Mongolia dan Tiongkok, dan yang mereka kalahkan pada tahun 1202. Keduanya kemudian berselisih, Toghrul terbunuh dan Temüjin mengalahkan pasukannya.[1]
