Richard Timothy "Tim" Kring (lahir 9 Juli 1957 (umur 68) adalah penulis skenario dan produser Amerika Serikat, yang terkenal dengan karya serial Strange World, Crossing Jordan, Heroes, dan Touch.

Biografi

Kring dilahirkan di El Dorado County, California. dia adalah seorang Yahudi.[1] Ia mempunyai tiga saudara.[2] Kring adalah alumni University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts pada 1983.[3] Kring mengaku tidak menduga bahwa ia akan menjadi seorang penulis skenario.

Kring memulai karier sebagai penulis skenario dalam acara televisi Knight Rider dan Teen Wolf Too. Ia dan Jeph Loeb memproduksi serial Heroes.

Setelah serial Heroes dihentikan pada 2010, Kring membuat serial TV Touch, sebuah drama tentang seorang ayah (Kiefer Sutherland) yang mendapati anaknya dapat mengetahui masa depan.[4]

Pada 22 Februari 2014, NBC mengumumkan Tim Kring menjadi produser eksekutif drama televisi Heroes yang akan kembali dengan miniseri 13 episode berjudul Heroes Reborn.[5]

Penghargaan

Kring memenangkan Emmy Award pada 2007 kategori Outstanding Drama Series untuk Heroes. Pada 2008, Tim Kring termasuk sebagai salah satu Masters of Sci Fi TV.[6][7]
