Kepemilikan
Post adalah cabang surat kabar dari MediaNews Group Inc., yang didirikan pada 1983 oleh William Dean Singleton dan Richard Scudder. MediaNews sekarang merupakan salah satu jaringan surat kabar terbesar di negara tersebut, menerbitkan 61 surat kabar harian dan lebih dari 120 terbitan non-harian di 13 negara bagian. MediaNews mengambil alih The Denver Post dari Times Mirror Co. pada 1 Desember 1987. Times Mirror mengambil alih surat kabar tersebut dari para pewaris pendiri Frederick Gilmer Bonfils pada 1980.
