Telavi

Telavi (bahasa Georgia: თელავი) adalah sebuah kota di Georgia. Kota ini letaknya di bagian timur, tepatnya di Mkhare (Region) Kakheti. Pada tahun 2014, kota ini memiliki jumlah penduduk sebesar 19.629 jiwa (2014).[1] Telavi pernah menjadi ibu kota Kerajaan Kakheti pada abad ke-17 dan kemudian menjadi ibu kota kedua Kerajaan Kartli-Kakheti setelah Tbilisi, terutama di bawah pemerintahan Raja Erekle II (1744–1798), yang lahir dan wafat di kota ini.[2]

Kota ini terletak di ketinggian 500-800 meter.
