Takur malabar (Psilopogon malabaricus) adalah spesies takur dalam famili Megalaimidae. Spesies ini terdapat di Ghat Barat di India.[1] Burung ini dahulu dianggap sebagai subspesies takur dahi-lembayung (Psilopogon rubricapillus). Sebarannya bertindih di beberapa tempat dengan sebaran takur ungkut-ungkut (Psilopogon haemacephala) dan mempunyai panggilan yang serupa tetapi lebih cepat.[3]

Takur malabar dapat dibedakan dari takur ungkut-ungkut berdasarkan muka dan lehernya yang merah padam. Nada panggilannya dibunyikan lebih cepat berbanding spesies lain.[4]
