Keluarga dan pendidikan

Susan Kelechi Watson dilahirkan pada tanggal 11 November 1981 di Brooklyn, Kota New York.[2] Orang tua Susan berasal dari Jamaika.[3] Ia mendapatkan gelar Bachelor of Fine Arts dari Universitas Howard dan gelar Master of Fine Arts dari Tisch School of the Arts jurusan drama.[4]
