Spacewar! adalah salah satu permainan video komputer digital pertama. Permainan Spacewar! melibatkan dua buah pesawat luar angkasa yang disebut si jarum dan si besar tembak-menembak sementara bermanuver di luar angkasa yang dipenuhi bintang. Misil yang ditembakan selalu akan lurus dan tidak terpengaruh (karena kurangnya mikroprosesor waktu itu). Setiap pesawat memiliki jumlah misil yang terbatas dan juga bahan bakar yang terbatas.
