Simone Segouin (3 Oktober 1925 – 21 Februari 2023) adalah seorang anggota pejuang militer pendukung komunisme dan nasionalisme Prancis. Ia bergabung dalam Francs-Tireurs et Partisans dengan nama samaran Nicole Minet.

Karier militer

Simone Segouin mengawali karier di Francs-Tireurs et Partisans dengan mencuri sepeda dari administrator militer Jerman. Sepeda hasil curian digunakannya untuk mengirim pesan.[1][2] Simone Segouin kemudian melaksanakan berbagai misi seperti menangkap tentara Jerman, merusak jalur kereta api dan meledakkan jembatan.[1] Pada tanggal 23 Agustus 1944 ketika ia berusia 18 tahun, Simone Segouin ditugaskan untuk meledakkan sebuah jembatan sekitar Kota Chartres yang berjarak 50 mili di selatan Kota Paris. Peledakan ini ditujukan untuk membebaskan Kota Chartres dari tentara Jerman. Selama pembebasan kota, ia menangkap 25 tahanan perang Jerman. Pada tanggal 25 Agustus 1944, Simone Segouin turut serta dalam Pembebasan Paris.[3] Karena keikutsertaan dan prestasinya, Simone Segouin dipromosikan menjadi Letnan. Ia juga menerima penghargaan Croix de Guerre.

Karier pasca-perang

Setelah berakhirnya Perang Dunia II, Simone Segouin menjadi ahli perawat. Sebuah jalan di daerah Courville-sur-Eure dinamai dari namanya.[1][4]
