Sexposition

Dalam media visual seperti televisi dan film, sexposition adalah teknik memberikan eksposisi dengan latar belakang adegan seks atau ketelanjangan.[1] Financial Times mendefinisikan sexposition sebagai cara untuk "membuat penonton terpikat dengan menggabungkan eksposisi plot yang kompleks dengan adegan seksual yang eksplisit". Menurut James Poniewozik, tujuannya adalah untuk mengalihkan perhatian penonton dan memberi karakter sesuatu untuk dilakukan saat eksposisi disampaikan, yang membedakan sexposition dengan sekadar adegan seksual yang tidak perlu.[1]

Istilah ini dicetuskan oleh narablog/kritikus Myles McNutt, yang mengomentari episode "You Win or You Die" dari serial TV HBO Game of Thrones pada bulan Mei 2011.[2]
