Security Dialogue adalah jurnal akademik telaahan sejawat yang menerbitkan artikel-artikel ilmiah yang menggabungkan analisis teori kontemporer dengan tantangan kebijakan publik di berbagai bidang studi keamanan. Hingga 2001[update], pemimpin redaksinya adalah J. Peter Burgess (Peace Research Institute Oslo).
Sejarah
Jurnal ini dirintis oleh Marek Thee pada tahun 1970 dengan nama Bulletin of Peace Proposals. Tujuannya adalah memaparkan, membandingkan, dan membahas gagasan, rencana, dan usulan pembangunan, keadilan, dan perdamaian.[1] Nama jurnal ini diubah menjadi Security Dialogue pada September 1992. Pemimpin redaksi sebelumnya adalah Magne Barth (1992–1996) dan Pavel Baev (1995–2001).
Abstrak dan indeks
Jurnal ini terabstrak dan terindeks di Scopus dan Social Sciences Citation Index. Menurut Journal Citation Reports tahun 2014, faktor pengaruhnya sebesar 1,952 dan menempati peringkat ke-7 dari 82 jurnal dalam kategori "Hubungan Internasional".[2]
