Rodolphus Lestrange adalah salah satu dari para Pelahap Maut dalam cerita Harry Potter.
Keluarga Lestrange
Rodolphus Lestrange adalah suami dari pelahap maut Bellatrix Lestrange (Terlahir Black). Rodolphus Lestrange juga memiliki saudara laki-laki yang benama Rabastan Lestrange. Rodolphus dan Bellatrix dianggap oleh Lord Voldemort sebagai pendukung-pendukungnya yang paling setia.
Tugas Rodolphus
Bellatrix dan suaminya Rodolphus bertugas untuk menyiksa suami istri dan pasangan Auror Frank dan Alice Longbottom sampai gila, saat bayi mereka Neville Longbottom masih bayi. Seperti juga istrinya, Rodolphus ditangkap dan ditahan di penjara Azkaban setelah kejatuhan Voldemort yang pertama. Ia dan Bellatrix dibebaskan dari penjara oleh para Dementor dalam cerita di novel ke lima yakni Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Rodolphus terlibat pertempuran dengan Kementrian Sihir pada akhir cerita tersebut.
Nama Lestrange
Nama "Lestrange" berasal dari Bahasa Prancis "l'étrange" yang bermakna "orang asing". Dalam Bahasa Prancis kuno biasanya ditulis dengan "l'éstrange".
