Redmi 2 (atau Hongmi 2) adalah telepon cerdas Xiaomi penerus Redmi 1S yang dirilis pada 4 Januari 2015. Redmi 2 menggunakan sistem operasi Android 4.4.4 KitKat dengan antarmuka MIUI versi 6. Redmi 2 sudah mendukung jaringan 4G LTE. Redmi 2 juga sudah mendukung fitur OTG.
Mulai tanggal 25 Agustus 2016, Redmi 2 dapat menggunakan MIUI8[2] dengan berbagai fitur yang ditanamkan di dalamnya yang membuatnya lebih powerful dan dapat diunduh secara online (OTA).
